What type of massage do I need?
The minefield of choice
✧ - When you are looking for the right massage, and the right therapist, the choice can be confusing - do I need Swedish, Remedial, Relaxation, Deep Tissue or Sports ... the list seems endless.
✧ - To make things simpler, I draw on a range of these techniques to give you a massage that is tailored to your concerns and conditions. This also gives me the flexibility and freedom to adapt my approach to each client and give the most suitable and effective massage.
"Hot" Stone Massage Therapy
✧ - A note on hot stones if you haven't come across these before - hot stones are actually warmed, oiled stones used as a massage tool. I use very smooth basalt stones from Jordan that are specifically sourced for this practise, they retain heat well and the added warmth they give encourages a deeper level of muscle relaxation. These are especially useful when working with the larger muscle groups of the back, hamstrings, calves and thighs.
As preparation is needed these would only be included by prior arrangement and if suitable to use.
A Relaxing and Private Workroom Space
✧ - My home-based massage space is a quiet and reassuring setting. It's important you feel relaxed and at ease and a homely surrounding helps to encourage this feeling of security and privacy.
✧ - You will be fully draped throughout and only the areas being worked on will be uncovered. In the winter months I use a heated blanket over the massage table to keep you warm and relaxed during your session.
✧ - If you are unable to lie flat, perhaps through injury or pregnancy, I can adapt your treatment to a side lying position, supported by pillows for additional stability and comfort.

✧ 1 hour = £60 (most popular)
✧ - Contactless card payment or cash is preferred. If paying by cash, thank you for having the correct money with you.
✧ - Your first appointment - Please note that a few more minutes will be added to your session, at no extra charge, so a detailed medical history can be taken. It's important to discuss your overall health and record any injuries, medication and look at current lifestyle issues.
✧ - If you are new to massage or have any concerns, however small, do get in touch and I will aim to give you reassurance as appropriate.
✧ - Gift Vouchers are available. Whether it's a birthday, a graduation, an anniversary or a thoughtful "just because" - valid for 6 months.
